  • You coordinate and organize the work of the Social Services Department of our health insurance fund.
  • You will manage various teams within the Social Services Department and work closely with a team of managers to optimally manage the service.
  • As the person ultimately responsible, you monitor and control the general operation, ensuring efficient and effective service provision.
  • You coach, support, motivate and evaluate your team leaders, who in turn provide the same guidance to their employees.
  • In consultation with management and together with team leaders, you translate the vision and strategy into practice, implementing innovative solutions and improvements.
  • You communicate clearly and correctly with management and colleagues and prepare annual reports and memoranda.
  • You monitor the budget, personnel planning and control expenses to ensure efficient deployment of resources.
  • You represent the service and the organisation both internally and externally (meetings, government, working groups, etc.).
  • You will be part of our Service Management Team, where you will consult participatively and transparently and go beyond your own area of responsibility. 
    Your location is 2020 Antwerp, with frequent travel within the province of Antwerp.

Desired profile

  • You have obtained at least a bachelor's degree in Social Work.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have good leadership qualities and management skills.
  • You have a talent for networking, consultation, and representing the organization at internal and external consultation bodies.
  • You are flexible and can quickly handle frequent changes in working methods or regulations.
  • You are a team player, you enjoy working with colleagues to achieve objectives and you have the skills to motivate colleagues.
  • You have a driver's license B and your own car. You are prepared to travel throughout the province.
