PRODUCTS ARE OFTEN NOT UNDER FAIR CONDITIONS CREATED

Companies that violate the rights of their workers, disrupt entire habitats through pollution and deforestation, or contribute to violations of international law are not exceptional cases. Therefore, there must be national and international legislation that obliges companies to comply with human rightsMore and more NGOs, organisations and politicians are campaigning for this. But companies themselves are also asking for it.

What does 11.11.11?

Together with you we strive to 11.11.11 for a binding European directive that establishes the responsibility of companies and ensures respect for human rights, the so-called duty of care law. Together with you, we urge politicians to take action. In this way, together we can put a stop to gross violations of human rights and environmental standards.

To implement this duty of care law:

  • we put pressure on policy makers, both at federal and European level
  • we work together with a broad coalition of civil society organizations, international partners and activists worldwide
  • we set up campaigns to raise awareness among the general public to take action for more human rights

What solutions are we pushing for?

  • Binding regulations in Belgium, the EU and the UN that oblige companies to respect human rights, labour rights and the environment throughout their value chain.
  • Access to justice and compensation for victims of corporate human rights violations.

Join us in taking action!

Don’t let companies write their own ‘rights’ – join us in demanding a duty of care law that protects people and the planet. Stop gross violations of human rights and environmental standards and help build a world where everyone counts. Make a donation, support our campaigns or become a volunteer. Together we put pressure on policymakers and, together with our partners, build a fairer world.
