Where do the partners of 11.11.11 on in?
Our partner Alef brings together more than 20 local organisations to promote aid, cooperation and peacebuilding. These organisations receive funding for pilot projects to support Syrian refugees. In this way, they not only build up strength and know-how in setting up projects. The platform also identifies 'best practices' and maps out what works well and what doesn't. They use this expertise to increase the effectiveness of international aid in Lebanon.
11.11.11 supports partner organizations in Lebanon to better protect the rights of people on the run.
Basmeh & Zeitooneh is committed to making the voice of refugees heard louder in international policy discussions. Women Now organizes dialogue sessions to map the needs of female refugees. Women Now puts these needs on the agenda of policymakers. CLDH (Centre Libanais des Droits Humains) provides legal assistance to Syrian refugees.
Together we stand up for fair treatment for everyone.
11.11.11 is co-founder of the 'Refugee Protection Watch' (RPW), a coalition of seven Syrian, Lebanese and European organisations. Together, these organisations conduct field research into the situation of displaced Syrians in Lebanon and Syria. The coalition uses this research as a basis for international policy work. The coalition has three priorities: creating safe conditions for voluntary return to Syria, actively involving Syrian refugees in the planning and implementation of projects, and ensuring continued political and financial support for refugee-led initiatives.
The idea of international solidarity is expressed daily in our partnership with 11.11.11: from the way we talk to each other to the way we work together as equal partners.
