In 2024, we will spend almost 5.300.000 euros on our international operations.
Why do we work together?
We can only tackle global challenges, such as the climate crisis, inequality or human rights violations, by working together internationally. Together we are stronger, and that is why 11.11.11 together with dozens of strong civil society organisations, spread across 11 countries. This allows us to have more influence on policy: here in Belgium, in the countries where our partners are active and internationally.
Our partners are all embedded in the local civil society and know better than anyone what the local needs are in their country. With their courage, initiative and perseverance they bring about sustainable change for their fellow countrymen.
How do we work together?
Our partner organizations fight just like 11.11.11 for equality and solidarity, and for a tolerant and just society. We work with them in full partnerships, defining our priorities and objectives together.
In 3 regions (Central Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia) we have a regional office. This office provides a direct connection with partners, the members of 11.11.11 and the Belgian representation in the region. In the Middle East we do not have an office for the time being, but we coordinate our partner work from Brussels.
