We are looking for immediate employment:
RESIDENTIAL ENERGY CONSULTANT - part-time (60%)
With construction of a yard reserve
IGO div is looking for a residential energy consultant with an employment rate of 60% (possible expansion in the future) for immediate employment and a fixed-term contract (possibility of extension).
You'll work on IGS projects for several municipalities in (or adjacent to) the Leuven district (starting in Kortenberg, Herent, and Zaventem), with support from experienced colleagues. You'll join a broader team of fellow residential energy consultants, housing inspectors, and vacancy managers, all managed by coordinators.
As a residential energy consultant, you are the first point of contact for our customers in our municipalities.
- You provide support during consultation hours at the counter within the municipality.
- You assist and provide advice with applications for grants, the My Renovation Loan, and housing allowances.
- You delve into the energy market and help people find the plan that best suits their consumption and situation.
- You maintain close contact with staff at the Public Social Welfare Center (OCMW) and the municipality to provide the best possible assistance, with a focus on the most vulnerable residents.
Desired profile
- You have a bachelor's degree or can demonstrate relevant experience.
- You generally show interest in municipal housing policy.
- You are willing to build a network.
- Prior knowledge is a plus, but not required. You must be willing to acquire the necessary knowledge quickly.
- You are sociable and communicative.
- You are willing to gain insight into the functioning of a local government.
- You are organizationally strong, punctual and results-oriented.
- You have good administrative skills and can deal correctly with very diverse groups of (socially vulnerable) customers and partners.
- You are proficient in Microsoft 365 and can work independently and accurately.
- You enjoy working in a team.
- You have a category B driving license and your own car or can travel by public transport.
Our offer
We offer a salary scale B1, salary scale local authoritiesGross starting salary for a full-time position: €3.059,65. IGO will take into account up to 10 years of relevant seniority from the private sector. Relevant seniority as a civil servant in the public sector can be fully taken into account. The gross salary with recognition of 10 years of relevant seniority for a full-time contract is €3.501,80. IGO provides the necessary internal training. Immediate commencement of employment is preferred, but the start date is negotiable.
