Job description

As a chef, you are responsible for the preparation, proportioning & distribution of meals, taking into account hygienic, nutritional and HACCP standards.

 

  • * You work closely with the kitchen team and coordinate with the chef. You have a managerial and supporting role towards your colleagues, kitchen assistants and dishwashers.
  • * You help supervise the kitchen (temperatures, putting away orders, checking and maintaining appliances, etc.)
  • * You perform the necessary administrative tasks.
  • * You work in both the Reninge kitchen and the Rekkem kitchen

Desired profile

* You have a chef's diploma

  • * You cook with heart and soul
  • * You have knowledge of culinary techniques and HACCP
  • * You stand for open and honest communication
  • * You are a team player, you like to work with people and you can also work independently
  • * You can deal with stress and work in a solution-oriented manner
  • * You have a broad view and are open to innovation
