Job description

As a consulting physician, you'll have a unique opportunity to be part of an organization with significant social relevance. You'll play a crucial role in assessing disability and healthcare, including medication reimbursement. You'll also make a significant contribution to the reintegration of our insured patients into the labor market.

In this role, you'll build constructive dialogue with external partners and work closely with other medical advisors, paramedics, return-to-work coordinators, and medical management. You'll advise, inform, and support our members on healthcare and disability matters. As a medical advisor, you'll also contribute to the efficient management of health and disability insurance. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, which offers regular opportunities for consultation. You'll make independent decisions and be supported by an administrative department.

Desired profile

  • You are a doctor.
  • You have Belgian nationality or another nationality within the European Community.
  • Additional training in occupational medicine, insurance medicine, and health economics is a plus but not a requirement.
  • You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team and value regular consultation with colleagues.
  • You combine sound knowledge of the file with a strong social vision and good communication skills.
  • Diplomacy and decisiveness are qualities that typify you.

As a consulting physician, you'll collaborate with other consulting physicians, paramedics, return-to-work coordinators, and various external partners within your region. You'll build constructive relationships, and knowledge sharing and support within the multidisciplinary team fosters a collegial atmosphere and offers valuable learning opportunities.

 

Our offer

  • A contract of indefinite duration.
  • Salary according to our health insurance scales, always paid on time. We offer a gross monthly salary between €7.817,08 and €11.079,36, depending on your relevant experience.
  • You'll work full-time: 38 hours per week. You'll enjoy a good work-life balance thanks to flexible working hours and the option to work from home.
  • Attractive leave scheme with 20 days of statutory leave, 6 ADV days, 2 extra public holidays and 3 extra-legal leave days that increase further with your seniority up to a maximum of 14.
