Leaked EU report exposes Israeli war crimes, 11.11.11 demands that Arizona take concrete steps

Following the leaked EU report that confirms what human rights organizations have been documenting to death – large-scale, systematic war crimes in Gaza – calls 11.11.11 European and Belgian governments to immediate action. Anyone who still fails to take action is complicit.
The report once again sharpens the choice for the European Union: continue to watch or finally draw the red line. This cannot remain without political consequences. Children are being killed, starvation is being used as a weapon, food distributions are being shot at. The few buildings that are still standing are being bulldozed. Gaza is being destroyed before our eyes, a genocide is taking place live on our telephone screens, but European politics does nothing. It is incomprehensible that a Union built on human rights continues to cooperate with a government that systematically violates these rights.
Despite position, no concrete steps from Arizona yet
On Sunday, June 15, tens of thousands of people will be drawn red line themselves. A broad coalition of civil society organisations, trade unions, cultural & Palestinian organisations and NGOs will then organise a large human chain in Brussels. They call on citizens to come to Brussels en masse in red clothing. Well-known Flemish people such as Elisabeth Lucie Baeten, Katrien De Ruysscher, Tine Embrechts, Ben Segers and Siska Schoeters shared the call.
The activists are demanding concrete steps from the Arizona government, which reached an agreement on a number of Palestine measures on May 19.
Two weeks later, we are still waiting for concrete steps. Trade and investments with occupied territories are still ongoing, there is no progress on sanctions and negotiations on arms trade and transit are still pending between the political levels. The facts are on the table, the legal analysis is clear. Words must now be translated into action.
Whoever stands up for justice, for international legal order, for humanity – stands up, speaks out, draws a line.
Join us in drawing the red line for Gaza
We demand that Europe no longer remains silent, but chooses justice. For human rights. For lasting peace. For the future of the Palestinian people.
Join us in drawing the red line on June 15. Wear something red. And make yourself heard.
The more people, the stronger our demand for action.
