DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION COORDINATOR (X/W/M)

Permanent contract – Full-time – Brussels

Our Finance & IT Department plays a central role in our organisation. It gives a financial, accounting and IT support to our whole staff in our different workplaces. To strengthen this department, we are looking for a Digital Transformation Coordinator.

Your work will directly support our mission of serving vulnerable populations both in Belgium and abroad by ensuring our internal systems are as impactful as our operational actions. YOU ARE MADE FOR THIS JOB BECAUSE...

  • You define the IT strategy, the priorities and resources needed to have a robust and optimized IT environment, with the Finance & IT director.
  • You ensure the security of the organisation's IT environment and applications, with the support of our IT officer and our IT partners.
  • You encourage and coordinate the improvement of current processes and tools within the organisation in terms of automation and digital innovation:
    • You work side-by-side with our teams to map out the current processes and tools.
    • You identify opportunities for improvement by developing Power Apps, interfaces, and connectors – not only for financial and administrative tools and processes, but also on the operational side.
    • You budget and prepare the business case to implement the improvements (needed investments, expected returns, timing).
    • You manage the implementation of the improvements (end-users support, quality check…).
  • You provide regular progress reports on your IT projects to the management.
  • You may work with external partners to implement Tech/Finance projects, including AI components.
  • You supervise the work of the IT officer.

Gewenst profiel

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supporting and executing complex financial and administrative digital projects, such as optimising financial flows (e.g. quote to cash).
  • You have a strong knowledge of IT systems and applications (e.g. NAV, Dynamics, power apps, PBI and other specific tools) and related architectures.
  • You foster an innovation and AI mindset, reflecting on the concrete uses of those new digital tools for our organisation.
  • You demonstrate a strong customer orientation, an ability to understand the needs of your stakeholders, and to translate them into technological solutions.
  • You have excellent communication skills and have the willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with all our teams.
  • You have an analytical mind that allows you to identify key issues in a complex and challenging environment.
  • You work independently and take on responsibility easily.
  • You establish a rhythm with colleagues to ensure effective execution of digital projects.
  • Practical experience with software such as NAV, Dynamics, PBI, Microsoft Azure and others is a plus.
  • You have a good command of English, Dutch and French.
  • Your commitment to solidarity and social justice is at the heart of your professional approach, and you are driven by a strong desire to support people in vulnerable situations.
