The topic
SKM Rhein-Sieg and its employees help people affected by poverty, exclusion and social disadvantage, regardless of their religion, origin or sexual identity.
We have over 500 volunteers and more than 100 full-time employees who are committed to promoting social and democratic coexistence.
Tasks
- Advising and supporting people in precarious employment situations
- In-depth knowledge of the structure and organisational and legal framework of the world of work
- Coaching affected households and referring them to supporting services
- Cooperation with various project partners in the Rhein-Sieg district
- Cooperation with local authorities, job centres and other authorities
Gewenst profiel
Profile
- Completed degree in social work or a comparable qualification
- Comprehensive and sound experience in the operational field of advising people in precarious employment situations
- Strong social and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team, openness, service and solution orientation
- High degree of independence, structured working style and reliability
- Flexibility, resilience and ability to set boundaries
- Willingness and ability to actively support colleagues when needed
- Sound knowledge of common MS Office programmes
- Class B driving licence and mobility
