January 27, 2024

A basic training that will introduce you to the world of international solidarity over 2 Saturdays.

For who?

Are you involved in an international cooperation project? Or do you want to start a solidarity project in another country?

Then, in addition to your dedication and enthusiasm, you will undoubtedly also encounter many questions: How do you realize a successful project? How do you ensure that your project does not stop within 2 years? How do you build a good and respectful collaboration with partner organizations? And where can you go for help, (financial) support and collaboration?

You don't do this alone. During this training you will also meet a group of like-minded people. This is your first network with whom you can share your experiences and ideas.

Programme

  • On the first day learn how to best build a sustainable project in the partner country: Which change do you want to realize with your project? With which success factors en pitfalls how to best account? How do you build a good collaboration with a local partner organization and with everyone involved in the project? What is your role and what attitude do you adopt?
  • During the second day of course we look at all the other questions: How does the world of international solidarity work? What is a contemporary vision on international solidarity and how do you connect with the major themes? Where can you find (financial) support and who can you collaborate with? And how communicate Do you communicate effectively, but in a respectful manner, about the vulnerable groups your project is committed to?
