Sensoa

Sensoa is the Flemish expertise centre for sexual health. Sensoa International is the international section within Sensoa.

With Sensoa International we strive for the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights, including HIV and AIDS worldwide. To this end, Sensoa International wants to actively influence international policy. We do this through cooperation, monitoring international development policy, advising government agencies and maintaining international partnerships.

Sensoa International therefore works in Belgium with national and international partner organisations and the Belgian government within the Working Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Aids of Be-cause health, the Belgian network for international health. We also take on the secretariat of the parliamentary group Parliamentarians for the 2030 Agenda. Sensoa International is also a member of Perspective2030, the platform of civil society organisations that monitors Belgium's implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda. Together with members of Be-cause health, Sensoa International developed the e-tutorial Body&Rights.
