FOS is a Belgian NGO that fights worldwide with local organisations for decent work and social protection for all.

By working together with committed organisations, we create lasting positive change. By strengthening solidarity, across national borders, we build together a locally and globally just, supportive and sustainable world.

We emphasize decent work and social protection, with attention for vulnerable groups. Because everyone has the right to a living wage, full employment rights and a safety net in case of illness, unemployment or old age. And that regardless of origin, gender, gender identity or sexual preference.

That is why we work together with organisations of Colombian banana pickers, Honduran health activists, Salvadoran textile workers, Peruvian feminists, Belgian trade union activists and female South African domestic workers. In this way, they claim their rights and their place in local and global society in all their diversity.
