Oikocredit Belgium vzw is committed to a more just and sustainable world by raising awareness of the need for ethical investments. As a supporting association of the international cooperative Oikocredit International, the vzw creates awareness of the need for socially and ecologically responsible financing. It connects investors in Belgium with the global Oikocredit community and partner organisations in the South, with the aim of realising a positive social impact.

Through awareness-raising and global citizenship education, the organisation promotes insight into sustainable development, global inequality and ethical investment choices. In addition, the vzw plays an active role in representing the interests of its members at an international level and promotes exchange with like-minded organisations.

In addition to its educational and connecting role, Oikocredit Belgium vzw also supervises the management of Oikocredit International through its general meeting.
