Governmental Action Observatory (OAG)

OAG is an independent platform that monitors the extent to which the government fulfills its commitments. OAG has conducted and published more than a hundred studies and analyses on education, health, government policies and programs, government finance, justice, repatriation, land issues, the environment, ceasefire agreements, national consultations, poverty reduction, combating corruption, the role of women in decision-making bodies, citizen participation in decision-making processes and many more. All these studies and other analyses are publicly available on the website www.oag.bi.  

In addition, OAG fights every day to strengthen critical civic spirit among the population and to make the needs of the Burundian population known to the government.
