Defends human rights in Lebanon
ALEF is committed to the human rights of Syrians in Lebanon. They coordinate the PASC network, which brings together more than 20 Syrian and Lebanese organizations that strive for better protection of Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Together, these NGOs are stronger in influencing the decisions of local, national and international policymakers.
ALEF is also one of the three local partners in the DGD Lebanon programme that 11.11.11 will be implemented in the period 2022-2026. Within this programme, the organisation coordinates the “Triple Nexus Platform”, a group of Syrian and Lebanese organisations that implement projects that bridge the gap between humanitarian aid, development cooperation and peacebuilding.
