ACLVB

The Liberal Trade Union is a trade union where every person is central and where the local approach is paramount. Our values (freedom, solidarity, responsibility and tolerance) form the four pillars of our social liberalism. As a Liberal Trade Union, we do not dictate choices, but we provide ideas and solutions to members, activists and representatives. We do all this politically independently.

This concept of responsible, free, supportive and committed trade unionism is expressed in the relations that the ACLVB maintains with its southern partner organisations and also through its investments in global democratic decent work structures.

* The ACLVB's main objectives are:
* The organisation and development of the liberal trade union movement.
* The promotion of the liberal trade union movement internationally;
* The promotion of the material and immaterial interests of employees;
* Undertaking all activities directly or indirectly related to unemployment insurance;
* The pursuit of a freer and more just society, based on social-liberal foundations, as further defined by the Congresses of the ACLVB.
