Yes, digitalisation in the world of development and international solidarity is achievable, affordable and easy to implement! Let’s take a look at three cases.

Digitization in the world of development and international solidarity is achievable and affordable. Through three cases, we show how simple, inexpensive tools can have a major impact on local health, education and trade.

Memisa's 'The smart glasses for telehealth' project allows health workers in remote areas and conflict zones to connect in real time with medical experts who can help them with diagnosis, expertise and guidance.  (en français)

VVOB uses digital technology for 'blended learning processes', so that teachers can use digital tools in the classroom and at the same time simplify the administrative process.  (in English)

Wehubit is an investment project carried out by Enabel and financed by DGD. Wehubit aims to support and strengthen digitisation as a tool to accelerate sustainable development, increase prosperity, reduce inequalities and empower people and businesses in developing and emerging countries. In addition to the project itself, this presentation will also explain the potential of digital social innovations in the context of a Human-Rights Based Approach. (in English)
