Change the system! But how?

Thur. 15 Oct from 2 - 3 p.m. (CET)

Speakers: Walden Bello (Focus on the Global South) and Tasneem Essop (Climate network Int.)
Language: ENGLISH

Will the crisis become a turning point in the transition to a more equitable world, both socially and ecologically?

The call for systemic change is not new. 2019 was a year filled with protest: the demand for a more ecological and equitable world has gained more traction. COVID-19 has strengthened this sentiment, raising voices across the world to re-build in a better way. The crisis has once again revealed the weaknesses of the system and shown that drastic interventions are possible.

Will the crisis become a turning point in the transition to a more equitable world, both socially and ecologically? Or will we eventually return to business as usual?
